I am pleased to say that all of the music provided on the DVD is performed by local artists. These talented professionals have helped to add a special touch of magic and beauty to this project and deserve much praise. It has always been my vision to construct a confluence of between artist and community that would illuminate the true nature of the symbiotic relationship between God, man and the universe that speaks to humanity. Sacramento possesses a reservoir of Black talent that is begging to be discovered. Please seek out these wonderful talents as I have and make them a part of your life.

This genius of an artist stepped into my life in an usual way. While working on a theatre project with his talented son on the campus of Kit Carson Middle School, I heard about his musical prowess. I purchased a copy of his "Paslm to Jabez" CD and was absolutely delighted.

Deciding to incorporate his music into this work was easy and I am certain that you will agree with me that his work delivers a distinct but robust sound that is smooth and magical. His flavorful blend wets the musical palette and mixes syncopation, rhythm and sound in a way that is absolutely magical.

Hernandez toured, as a side musician, with jazz ensembles, performing to many diverse audiences of note. He has played on concerts, as added attractions, on shows with greats like, George Benson, George Duke, Billy Stewart, Michael Jackson and the Jackson Five, Patrice Rushen, The Silvers, The Temptations, Smoky Robinson and the Miracles, The Spinners, Melba Moore, Herbie Hancock, The Black Birds, The Ohio Players, Bill Summers, Gato Barbieri, Pete and Sheila Escovedo, Phil Upchurch, Sarah Vaughn, Nat Adderley and Cannonball Adderley, Stanley Turrentine, Richie Cole, David “Fathead” Newman.

Jose's list of credits are much to extensive to cover here. However, I can tell you that you will find his resume to be quite impressive. Collaborations with influential's like; Jimmy Smith, the late renowned Jazz Organist, Joe Williams, Patti Austin, Sidney Poitier, Analysis and Larry Ellis, Cool-Jazz recording artists.

The beautiful Diva and woman of God is pure Gospel delight. Winner of the 2002, FEMALE GOSPEL ARTIST OF THE YEAR AWARD by the OBSERVER MEDIA GROUP, in Sacramento, Shelia has released multiple CD's. She has performed across the country and performed with such stars as MARY MARY, VANESSA BELL-ARMSTRONG and JOHN PEE KEE.

She hails from my hometown of Stockton, California. Groomed by her mother, Dorothy Perry, Shelia was raised in the tradition of the C.O.G.I.C. Her songs reflect a testimony of faith and perseverance. They are moving and inspirational. Her powerful voice, trained and poignant reaches deep inside the soul and stirs the emotions of praise and worship in it's listeners.

Shelia believes that it is her mission in life to use her God given talent to reach others through her gift of music. Thus, she seeks to perform always in order that her light might shine. I pray that all of you will invite Shelia into your lives. She was perfect for this project.

It won't take long to warm up to this Father & Son duo. Odee-O & EQ are truly hot like fire. I am honored to have the work of this talented duo out of Elk Grove, CA. on my DVD. I first heard work from Odee more than a decade ago and couldn't wait to enjoin this talented vocalist on a project.

Odee-O is as smooth as silk and combined with the efforts of his equally talented offspring, together they bring the heat. This CD brings a variety of sounds to the listener. Something to ride to, sing to, dance to and make love to. The biggest challenge on this project was deciding how high to turn up the flames.

This unique father and son team brings you Hip-Hop and R & B. Odee-O has performed background vocals with Bobby Brown and many other notable artists.

EQ's talent is expressed in a number of ways on this project. Not only does he provide the Hip-Hop flava'... he provide vocals and writes.

So, don't let the smooth looks fool you. These fella's are hot... and so is their CD. I haven't even tipped the lid on the musical talents of these artists... but rest assured, you will hear more from them on future projects.
