Mr. Thomas...
MR. THOMAS- early sixties, A southern boy who’s seen it all before. “That dog ain’t doin’ nothin’ but waggin’ his tail in a different direction.”
As far as he’s concerned, the revolution is over. He done seen the best of Black folks but them days is all gone now. The White man ain’t givin’ up nothin’ without some bloodshed.
MARVIN GAY is a fresh, vibrant, mature, yet youthful talent, now on the Hollywood scene.
Since coming to L.A. in June, 2006 he has starred in "IN GOD'S NAME", an EleVATEFilms 48HR film Festival2 dramatic entry; "I'M IN THE BAND", a trailer/festival bound Short; and will be featured in a second feature length film as, ROGER, in "BETWEEN YOU AND ME", shooting in the Spring of 2007 with a Cameo Appearance by Richard Riehle.
Additionally, Marvin has done regional/national television commercial projects for Verizon and State Farm Insurance and, in addition to "SPUNK" and "AFFLUENZA", has done "DRIVING MISS DAISY" and "AIN’T MISBEHAVIN’" on the theatrical stage. He is tremendously proud to be in rehearsals with Director Essel Een in William a. Parker’s “outstanding” theatrical work……THE AWAKENING…… scheduled to open in West Hollywood on December 07, 2006. Gay believes that THE AWAKENING will be a Holiday Gift for the “theatre-loving public” that must be “OPENed BEFORE CHRISTMAS!””
He thanks The Creator, his beloved and departed parents, several caring teachers, as well as, Fiesta, and now, Sam for the continuing development of his abilities. “Acting is ART, Art is TRUTH, and Truth is YOU and ME, INTERACTING!” (©© mg031203)
